Blog Update #2

Well I can't say I planned for the blog to be down nearly as long as it has been. It's been really disheartening that I've been away this long. I'm still working on things though and I am still figuring out the path I want the site to take. I've figured some things out and seemingly gotten further away from figuring out others.

I'm very much still actively hunting records and tapes and have found some big time scores in the last couple months. Which I've really wanted to write about here but I don't want to get restarted until I have most things figured out. I want this delay to be the last delay the site has.

Along with what I mentioned in the first blog update post I've been considering making a St. Louis music calendar and possibly starting a Facebook page to go with the blog. It's all just a bit up in the air right now as I'm a one man band so to speak so everything I add to this project means more on my plate every week.

Thanks for sticking with me and as always if you have any questions or comments you can email me at ra7c7er @ gmail . com

Blog Update #1

I haven't posted anything new lately. I've been trying to figure out how to streamline the blog a bit. It's not where I want it to be and I am not quite sure how to get it there. I am working on it though and I am still writing for it. I am hoping to have the blog going again in two weeks, February 4th, but it may take a week or two longer. I'm holding off on the Weekly Finds updates also because I am changing the way I do them.

Some of the tweaks I am working on are;

Changing Weekly Finds to a Weekly Thrift Challenge
St. Louis area record shop reviews
Creating a format for new music reviews
Getting back to the themed mini-series posts (like the Automobilia posts)
Alternate formats (cassette and VHS posts)
Possibly instituting a monthly giveaway

If you have any comments or questions you can always email me at ra7c7er @ gmail . com

It's been freezing and snowy. Not nearly as much as most places but it's been enough to make it slow going in the record hunting. All I really managed to get this week was a few cassettes and two VHS tapes.

 The Simpsons - Sing The Blues (second copy)
 Glenn Danzig - Black Aria
 Soul Asylym - Grave Dancers Union
 Pirates Of The Mississippi - Pirates Of The Mississippi
